“Our feelings matter and deserve a place to explore in a safe and empathetic space.” — Eaint Chu
Eaint Chu Moe Myint’s journey into counselling began with her own process of healing from unresolved trauma. In her counselling practice, she has supported clients facing anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, attachment issues, and suicidal ideation. Her approach is grounded in the person-centered model, creating a warm, empathetic environment where clients can explore their emotions at their own pace. She believes: “Our deepest answers are already within us — counselling helps us find the lost keys.”
Since 2022, Eaint Chu has been trained extensively at Counselling Corner, completing both basic and advanced courses, and remains committed to ongoing professional development. She has accumulated over 1000 hours of individual counselling and over 800 hours in facilitation and training, reflecting her dedication to both direct client work and capacity-building for communities.
Before entering the mental health field, she worked as an English teacher and in media production, where she met many young people in need of emotional support. These experiences inspired her to dedicate her career to helping Myanmar communities cultivate self-acceptance and resilience.
Her vision is to reduce stigma around mental health in Myanmar society and to expand access to compassionate counselling. Outside of her professional work, Eaint Chu enjoys swimming, traveling, and journaling — practices that nurture her own wellbeing and creativity.
