Chaw Su Khaing

After experiencing PTSD following the crises after 2020, Chaw Su Khaing began her own healing journey.  Through that experience, she came to deeply understand the importance of mental health and emotional support. Wanting to support people who are struggling emotionally, just as she once did, became the starting point of her counselling journey.

In 2025, she attended counseling training from Basic to Advanced levels at Counselling Corner while also volunteering in the mental health field and continuing to explore different counseling-related trainings. She has been actively involved as a volunteer with mental health initiatives such as Jue Jue’s Safe Space, ADORE Mental Wellbeing & Care, Treat With Me, and KindleTogether As a former primary school teacher who genuinely loves children, and as someone who has experienced childhood trauma herself, she hopes to help create emotionally safe spaces for children. She completed Play Date Training at Counselling Corner and volunteered in play dates and Child-Centered Play Clubs for children. She also attended Emergency Pedagogy Training from Freunde Waldorf to better support trauma-affected children.

Her interest in mindfulness grew through practicing meditation for emotional balance and self-awareness. She is especially interested in Buddhist Psychotherapy, Eco-Mindfulness, and nature-based healing. She loves flowers, nature, and traveling, and enjoys reconnecting with herself through quiet moments in nature. In her free time, she enjoys coffee, tree planting, writing, listening to music, cycling, walking, and photography.
